UCLA Memorandum
Dear Colleagues:
As you may know, the University routinely

pursuant to the California Public Records Act (CPRA). We are writing as a
reminder of the process for handling such requests, which are coordinated by
the Office of Information Practices (OIP).
OIP is located in
First, there are legal requirements
associated with the turnaround time on responses to CPRA requests.
Oftentimes, the language of requests for documents is not clear, or public
documents may contain information that is personal or privileged, requiring
redaction. Accordingly, any such requests you receive must be addressed
immediately, in the following manner.
Please share this information with the
appropriate individuals within your departments or units. If you have any
questions, please feel free to call
Sincerely,
