UCLA Payroll Services Partnership with Salesforce

UCLA Payroll Services is excited to announce the upcoming implementation of Salesforce, a Customer Relationships Management tool, on Monday, May 14th.  Salesforce is a communication platform that will allow automation and tracking of key tasks, such as:

  • customer interaction
  • time efficiency
  • greater ability to address individual customer issues, and track progress
  • integration of smart forms 

Salesforce will manage the questions coming into Payroll and track what inquiries we are receiving, who is handling the issue, and if the question(s) has been resolved. This implementation is to streamline the workflow and communication within the department, UCLA and UCPath.  All part of the CFS initiative to improve operational efficiency & effectiveness through transparency and customer care.

Going forward, your PAN notifications, (PPPAY@finance.ucla.edu), and online requests to payroll@finance.ucla.edu will be routed to Salesforce and assigned a case number for tracking. Incoming calls and emails will be routed to the appropriate payroll team or team member, and an acknowledgement email will be automatically generated with a case number for your reference. PAN notifications will be handled by the assigned Payroll Services Specialist; therefore, an automatic email reply will not be issued. In addition,  on 05/14 you will find on our Payroll website two new smart forms that will automatically link to Salesforce and route to the appropriate group.
