These activities include, but are not limited to: leading or participating in training for remote tools, effort to move classes online (due to COVID), creation of new policies and processes related to grading, online finals, entering grades, etc., other central IT costs related to remote teaching (such as implementation of new tools, help desk for remote teaching inquiries, IT security related to remote teaching, etc. On 5/11/2020, a decision was made by UCLA leadership NOT to track academic time related to this category when tracking effort required is weighed against the chance for potential reimbursement. |
