Static BAR Reports of Activity
The Report Distribution System (RDS in OASIS), and the related View Direct web application provide static displays of data at the completion of some BAR jobs.
- Access and training is granted by the system owners. You may use the contact information below for BAR RDS/View Direct report requests. This access requires Family Educational Rights to Privacy Act (FERPA) training as the users will have access to student financial data and other personal information.

- The following reports are available to all BAR users. Instructions for accessing and using these reports are provided in the Billing and Accounts Receivable (BAR) System user manual. Access to these reports is not included in the BAR System access packages; visit the link Related Information to download a copy of the RDS Access Request form.
Title & Description
Departmental Notice of Write-Offs: Provides the monthly write-off detail of charges that were written off and assigned to our collection agency (UCLA Student Loan Collections).
Departmental Notice of Write-Offs: Provides the monthly write-off detail of charges that were written off at 100% and not assigned to our collection agency, as the amounts were too small to assign.
Departmental Notice of Write-Offs: Provides the monthly write-off detail of charges that were written off and assigned to our collection agency because the billing address repeatedly resulted in returned mail.
The write-off for these charges may occur earlier than normal to allow the collection agency to initiate skip tracing steps.
SBAR Daily Update Report: Identifies all transactions that have been uploaded in batch format to BAR by date. (Batch is the alternative to posting transactions online.) A diagnostic section of this report identifies problematic records from your batch that were not uploaded along with the associated errors.
